เรื่อง : เด็กสำนักงานไมโครซอฟท์

A jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' at Microsoft.
คนตกงานคนหนึ่งเดินเข้าไปหางานทำในสำนักงานบริษัท ไมโครซอฟท์
The HR manager interviewed him, then gave him a test,
ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบุคคลสัมภาษณ์เขา แล้วให้ทำแบบทดสอบ
which was to clean the floor.
ซึ่งก็คืองานทำความสะอาดพื้น
After that the HR manager said,
หลังจากนั้น ผู้จัดการก็บอกว่า
"You are engaged, give me your e-mail address,
“ คุณได้งานแล้ว ขอ อี เมล์ แอดเดรส ด้วย
and I'll send you the application to fill, as well as when you will start".
ผมจะได้ส่งแบบฟอร์มให้กรอก แล้วจะเริ่มงานได้เมื่อไหร่ล่ะ “

The man replied, "I don't have a computer, neither an email"
ชายคนนั้นตอบว่า “ ขอโทษครับ ผมไม่มีคอมพิวเตอร์ หรือ อีเมล์ แอดเดรส หรอกครับ “
"I'm sorry", said the HR manager,
“ ถ้าอย่างนั้น ผมก็เสียใจด้วย “ ผู้จัดการบอก
"if you don't have an email, that means you do not exist.
“ ถ้าคุณไม่มี อี เมล์ แปลว่าคุณไม่มีตัวตน ( ที่ติดต่อ )
And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job".
แล้วถ้าคุณไม่มีตัวตน คุณก็ไม่สามารถมีงานทำ “

The man left with no hope at all.
ชายคนนั้นจากไปอย่างสิ้นหวัง
He didn't know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket.
เขาไม่รู้จะทำยังไงต่อไป เขาเหลือเงินแค่ 10 เหรียญในกระเป๋า
The man then decided to go to the supermarket
เขาตัดสินใจเดินเข้าไปในซุปเปอร์มาร์เกต
and buy a 10 Kg tomato crate.
แล้วก็ซื้อมะเขือเทศมา 10 กิโล
He sold the tomatoes in a door-to-door round.
เขาเร่ขายมะเขือเทศไปตามบ้านคนแถบนั้น
In less than two hours, He succeeded to double his capital.
ไม่ถึงสองชั่วโมง เขาก็ได้เงินเป็นสองเท่า
He repeated the operation three times,
เขาเลยทำซ้ำๆ อย่างนั้น สามหน
and returned home with $60.
แล้วกลับบ้านพร้อมเงิน 60 เหรียญ
The man realized that he could survive this way,
ชายคนนั้นจึงพบว่าเขาอาจอยู่รอดด้วยวิธีนี้
and started to go everyday earlier, and return late.
เขาเริ่มงานทุกวัน เช้าขึ้น แล้วเลิกช้าลง
Thus, his money doubled and tripled day by day.
เขาจึงมีเงินมากขึ้นเป็นสองเท่า สามเท่าทุกวัน

Shortly later, he bought a cart, then a truck,
หลังจากนั้นไม่นาน , เขาก็ซื้อรถเข็น , แล้วก็รถบรรทุก ,
then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.
ต่อมา เขาก็มีกิจการรถบรรทุกของตัวเอง

5 years later, the man became one of the biggest food retailers in the U.S.
5 ปีต่อมา เขากลายเป็นผู้ค้าปลีกอาหารเจ้าใหญ่ในอเมริกา
He started to plan his family's future,
เขาจึงเริ่มคิดถึงอนาคตที่มั่นคงของครอบครัว
and decided to get life insurance.
โดยการทำประกันชีวิต
He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan.
เขาเรียกผู้แทนประกันมาคุย แล้วก็เลือกซื้อแผนประกันชีวิต
When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him for his e-mail.
เมื่อการสนทนาจบลง , ผู้แทนประกันก็ขอ อี เมล์ แอดเดรส ของเขา
The man replied: "I don't have an email".
“ ผมไม่มี อี เมล์ แอดเดรส หรอก “ เขาตอบ
The broker replied curiously,
ผู้แทนประกันก็แสดงความสงสัย ,
"you don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire.
“ คุณไม่มีอี เมล์ , แล้วคุณยังประสบความสำเร็จได้ยิ่งใหญ่ขนาดนี้
Do you imagine what you could have been if you had an email?"
ลองคิดดูสิครับว่าคุณจะเป็นยังไง ถ้าคุณมีอี เมล์ “
The man thought for a while, and replied:
ชายคนนั้นหยุดคิดนิดนึง ก่อนจะตอบว่า
"an office boy at Microsoft!"
“ เด็กสำนักงานในไมโครซอฟท์ “

The moral of this story:
นิทานเรื่องนี้สอนให้รู้ว่า :
1 - Internet is not the solution to your life.
1. - อินเทอร์เน็ตไม่ใช่คำตอบ ( สิ่งจำเป็น ) ในชีวิต
2 - if you don't have Internet, and work hard,you can be a millionaire.
2. - ถ้าคุณไม่มีอินเทอร์เน็ต , และทำงานหนัก , คุณก็เป็นเศรษฐีได้
3 - if you received this message by email,
3. – ถ้าคุณได้รับรู้เรื่องนี้ทาง อี เมล์
you are closer to be an office boy, rather than a millionaire.
คุณก็เข้าใกล้กับการเป็นเด็กสำนักงาน , แทนที่จะใกล้เป็นเศรษฐี
