Avant เป็น Tabbed Browser ที่ใช้ฐานของ IE และเป็นผู้นำทางด้านเทคโนโลยีชั้นยอดมากมาย หลังจากที่มีการไม่ได้ออก Avant มานาน ซึ่งหลังจากที่ได้ทดสอบกันหลาย ๆ ครั้งก็ได้ออก Avant Browser ที่ได้ปรับปรุงคุณสมบัติอื่น ๆ เพิ่มเติมลงไป เช่น bookmarks, RSS feeds, Autofill ที่ช่วยให้สามารถบันทึก passwords ในการเข้าเวบต่าง ๆ สามารถเลือกใช้งานการก็บลิงค์ได้ทั้ง Bookmarks System และ Favorites แบบเดิมของ IE สามารถเพิ่ม plug-in ต่าง ๆ ที่ปรากฏใน IE's BHO/Button/Toolbars and Script Buttons. ให้มาแสดงใน Avant สามารถเลือกคุณสมบัติของ tab options ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Lock Tabs / Show Underlines/Show Progress Bar/Show Close Button etc.
